Whale of a Tale (aka 'Tail of a Whale')

Of scuba diving off the coast of Newfoundland in July 2005 with Ocean Quest Adventures near St. John's. Ocean Quest, is run by two of the nicest and most competent dive operators I ever had the pleasure of diving with - Rick Stanley and his wife Debbie.

If you're a diver, check out Ocean Quest on the Web and consider what might be one of the greatest dive trips you've ever taken. Note however, it is cold-water diving (I hit 30 degrees on one dive) so you need to be experienced with cold water diving and have the right exposure suits etc.

This picture of a whale diving off the coast was taken from the Ocean Quest Zodiac which Rick was kind enough to take a small group of us divers in to get up close to the whales - and that we did.
