Bringing your faded memories back to life...

Service Overview

Photographs of treasured family and friends, roads traveled, and moments from our past are more valuable than gold and are  irreplaceable.  Unfortunately, time and circumstances can take a toll on older photographs, rendering them barely viewable or worse.

In addition, chances are that many of those great photos you've taken in recent years with a digital camera or your smartphone can use a little help to look their best framed on your wall, sitting on your mantle or credenza or in the hands of the relatives and friends you send them to.

The good news is that with expertise and the right technology, your faded or damaged older photographs along with more recent photos that could use a boost can all be made to look their best with a little help. Even substantial damage such as rips, tears, missing pieces, mold or water damage can often be largely or completely repaired. And those very old, archival family photos from the 1800s and 1900s can also be brought to life again, bridging the gap in time with those older folks we never knew firsthand.

Best of all, once restored, you will receive a private link to your photographs that you can share with family and friends anywhere in the world to simply view and enjoy or to request their own printed copies at the click of a mouse.

Next Steps

Contact me with a brief description of the work you have in mind, and I will get back to you to discuss details, potential costs and next steps.

Basic information needed to start the discussion is the rough number and type of photographs you have in mind and whether you would be submitting pre-scanned digital images or hard-copy prints requiring pre-scanning.

Once we have a good idea what is involved, I will provide a statement of work and cost estimate.  On your acceptance of the proposal and submission of your photos the work will proceed.

Project Completion

Once the work is completed, you will receive a link to a private gallery containing your original and restored photos for your review and acceptance.  Upon acceptance of the work, you will receive an electronic invoice via email. Invoices can be paid through the secure PayPal network using your PayPal account or any major credit card  - or you can pay by check through the mail.

Once payment is confimed, the link to your private gallery will be updated to allow you to download full resolution copies of the restored images and to purchase professional quality photo prints of various sizes and media depending on the characteristics of the image.  Family and friends that you share your link with will have the same access.

The link to your private gallery will remain active for 90 days and can be extended thereafter for a small monthly fee. In addition, for an additional fee, you can request a CD containing all of the before and after digital images.
